Practical skills that nourish & connect
This is a skill-building program to help you access your inner
resources to develop new, healthy responses to old habituated patterns.
Mindfulness can facilitate the exploration of your relationship to
eating and food and provide an opportunity to see more clearly the
connection of body, mind and heart. By bringing awareness to and through
the senses you can become more mindful of how, when, where what and why
you eat. Weight, diets and rules are not the focus in this program. The
focus is on gaining skills and understanding that allow you to change
your relationship to food so that eating takes a balanced place
alongside other aspects of your life. The intention is for you to feel
more in control of your life and your eating, and to fully enjoy both.
