Purposeful Movement
Understanding Purposeful Movements is the foundation and preparation when it comes to learning functional movements and exercises. These movements are also a great support in improving your performance if you are a dancer, athlete, or martial artist.
With 650 skeletal muscles, 260 bones and 300 some joints, we have a lot to learn. We will begin with 9 focuses, with proper posture as focus 1 and breath work as focus 2. We will then move onto the other 7 focuses to introduce and re-engage you with your well-equipped body. This new understanding will enable you to become best friends with your body. Your new best friend will never let you down because you will now both understand the importance of keeping up a healthy relationship.
